As the European season begins many teams are bringing significant upgrades.
It’s the usual occurrence that as the teams return to the sports heartland, bigger update packages begin to flood onto the cars up and down the grid.
Here’s a look at what each team has brought with them this weekend.
Red Bull
The championship leaders have made five changes to the RB20.
A new front wing is aimed at producing more load, along with modifications to the floor edge, floor body and nose to compliment.
A reprofiling of the exit duct of the rear brake duct has also been made to improve rear brake cooling.
Ferrari
Ferrari’s first major package of the season features eight changes in a bid to respond to McLaren’s strong pace in Miami and Red Bull ahead.
The most eye-catching feature is the re-profiling of the sidepod inlet to produce a bigger sidepod undercut, similar in fashion to the design seen on the RB20.

Therefore, the team have also redesigned the coke bottle/engine cover, reducing its volume to improve efficiency and having a reworked cooling exit.
The squad also have a new front and rear wing. The latter has a revised endplate roll junction to improve efficiency.
Given the big changes to the upper surface of the car, Ferrari have also modified the floor edges and diffuser to improve overall load and compliment the other changes to the car.

They have also reprofiled the top wishbone fairing which has a positive effect on the diffuser and rear wing.
Mercedes
After another difficult start to the year Mercedes have another package aimed at improving performance as well as some track specific tweaks.
A new floor body and floor fences produce more load and allow better performance to the diffuser throughout the ride height range.
The circuit specific changes include in a modification to the upper rear wing tip to improve efficiency, a new bi-plane beam wing and a redesign of the front brake duct for better cooling.
McLaren
After their big Miami package – that Oscar Piastri will have the full version of this weekend – some circuit specific changes have been made for Imola.
These are a more loaded rear wing and Beam wing assembly to match the higher downforce demands of the track.
Aston Martin
Aston Martin have the largest number of upgrades after their difficult Miami GP weekend.
A new front wing, engine cover, rear suspension fairings and rear brake duct housing are all the top body surface changes aimed at improving overall load.

In turn, underneath the car a new floor body, floor fences, floor edge wing and diffuser have been brought as the team looks to close the gap ahead to the front three and stay on par with Mercedes.
