Estonian F2 driver, Paul Aron has stated that he would love to return to Formula E in the future after he had expected to make bigger steps forward in race two.
His FE debut, Paul Aron was called up after both Sebastian Buemi and Robin Frijns had chosen to race in the WEC six hours of Spa on May 11.
Despite still only 20 years old, Paul Aron stated he had expected more from himself in what can only be described as a baptism of fire.
He said: “It’s a good learning experience but from my side I would have liked to make a bigger step forward today form yesterday with what I learned. It just feels like I didn’t apply all of the learning from yesterday.

“To be honest, after today, it feels like I have some unfinished business so I’d love to come back but looking at the season, we will have clashes until the end of the season now with F2 so realistically there’s no oppurtunity this year and my focus will shift back to F2 now.”
Aron finished in both races and had no major collisions which should not be understated for the chaos that occurred in both races and the difficult nature of the ‘peloton’ racing the track brought out.
Crossing the line in 13th in race one, he followed this result up in race two by finishing a place down on this in 14th.
His teammate for the weekend, Joel Erikson managed to wrestle home some points for the team after a ninth position finish.
Aron has now turned his focus to Imola next weekend, returning to race with Hitech in F2.
Asked how he feels for the race, Aron said he is in a good place for the weekend.
He said: “I’m flying back now tonight and then we will do preparation on Monday and Tuesday and that’s when I shift focus back to F2.
“From the Barcelona test I think we made a good step forward.”
