The spotlight falls on Mercedes’ standout racer, Doriane Pin, who blazed a trail of success in Jeddah with consecutive pole positions and a debut victory. However, it’s Alpine’s Abbi Pulling who emerges as the frontrunner in the Drivers’ Standings, hoping to extend her dominance on the streets of Miami.
Pulling Looks to Build on Momentum
With a focus on the process and not just a win, Pulling enters the weekend as the driver to beat at the top, building on the momentum of her maiden win. The chase is on behind her to reach the top of the table this weekend, but it won’t be easy. The Briton has experience racing at the Miami track, and the technical track plays to Pulling’s strengths.
PREMA Racing’s Dominance Reignited
Meanwhile, PREMA Racing looks to regain its supremacy on the track, with Pin spearheading the charge and Weug showcasing consistency. Don’t forget, Pin successfully fended off Pulling’s advances in Races 1 and 2 back in Jeddah, and only a post-race penalty for taking the chequered flag twice at full speed cost her a perfect weekend. Looking ahead to this weekend, she will be looking to take the lead in the standings and right the wrongs of the last race weekend in Jeddah.
Homegrown Heroes Ready to Shine on the Streets of Miami
On home turf, American drivers Chloe Chambers, Lia Block, and Wild Card Courtney Crone are looking for success. Chambers will be looking to better her close call of podium glory in Jeddah, while Block’s rapid adaptation to the single-seater scene makes her one to look out for. Crone is due to debut as the Miami Wild Card entry with QVC, and while she has modest expectations for the weekend ahead, the 23-year-old has shown she has the work ethic needed to keep up with her more experienced rivals.
The New Track on the Block
Pulling, Chambers, Bianca Bustamante, Emely de Heus and Nerea Martí have all sampled the track before, with Tommy Hilfiger driver Martí landing a spot on the podium on her first appearance there. All teams except PREMA have at least one previous reference to help them prepare. paramount, setting the stage for a battle of wits and wills.
As the countdown to race day begins, the stage is set for an electrifying weekend of racing on the sun-drenched streets of Miami.
