5 Formula 1 Activities To Keep You Busy

1. Silverstone Museum

For only £22.50 the Silverstone Museum is a value for money experience for any Formula 1 fan.

From race simulators to a heritage track walk there is something for everyone. Whether you’re a history buff and want to dig into Silverstone’s past, want to get nerdy in the tech lab or simply enjoy cool cars!

This April you’re in luck because the museum has just launched a new Scalextric exhibition. An exact replica of Silverstone and when I say exact I mean exact, the detail is insane.

So will you take on this mighty track? And most importantly can you set the fastest lap around Silverstone?

2. F1® Arcade
The F1 Arcade is the venue of dreams, London’s newest hotspot, soon to be arriving in Birmingham!

Step into Formula 1 heaven and experience the simulators, racing inspired cocktails and the gorgeous décor.

And when lights finally go out, and we are back racing, you can even head to an F1 Arcade watch party.

3. Go Karting
You may not be able to jump in an F1 car yourself but what’s the next best thing? Go Karting.

It’s where all the greats started, so head down to your local track and test your abilities.

4. Take a Factory Tour
Take a peak behind the scenes of the F1 world with a factory tour.

Why not head to the Red Bull factory for all the exclusives. You’ll see the working factory in action, learn the secrets of Red Bull Racing’s success, get up close to championship winning cars and even take home a special gift (I promise it’s not just a can of Red Bull).

5. Brooklands Museum 🛞
Want to combine education with Formula 1? Or perhaps you’re interested in more than just F1?

The Brooklands Museum is home to a collection of some of Britain’s most iconic vehicles and even the UK’s largest collection of ex-London Transport Buses.

The British Grand Prix exhibition allows you to go back in time as you make your way through the development of the iconic GP from the 1920s to present day. But if that’s not enough to excite you why not drive the Brooklands track in the F1 simulator.

Simulator experiences are on the rise, not only does Brooklands museum and the Silverstone museum offer you a racing driver-esque experience but the F1 Arcade is solely dedicated to it.

So whether you take on your friends by going wheel to wheel or brush up on your motorsport knowledge, there’s plenty to do on non-race weekends.

Whilst we countdown till the next race, how are you keeping yourself occupied?

A cuppa and Guenther Steiner’s book perhaps?
