A report from Auto Motor und Sport (AMuS), has suggested that the rumoured Red Bull upgrade could be worth two tenths in pace. If this is true it would be a worry for the rest of the grid, who are still trying to catch up to the reigning constructors champions.

Red Bull banking points early?

The early upgrades are in keeping with Red Bull pushing through early developments before the restricted development time starts to take hold.

Red Bull are looking to go even faster in Baku!

Red Bull, who are current Champions have a reduced CFD and wind tunnel time compared to the rest of the grid, also they were hit with a further 10% reduction due to a cost cap breach.

This give the team an allocation of around 63% compared to Aston Martin who has 100% or around 118 wind tunnel runs.

It will be interesting if this reduced development time will equate to a drop in performance and can the other teams catch up to give Red Bull an adequate challenge.
