The VF-23 will cover its first miles at Silverstone on February 11th.
The team released its livery yesterday in partnership with new title sponsor MoneyGram, on a previous car rendering.
Last season saw the American squad finish 8th in the constructors’ standings with Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher, the highlight of the season being Magnussen’s Brazilian Grand Prix pole position for the sprint race.
This season sees Nico Hulkenburg replace his fellow countrymen Schumacher, in a team now filled with experience – between them having entered 323 Grand Prix.
With the influx of money from its new title sponsor, Haas are expected to be operating near the budget cap limits and will continue to take transferable components from Ferrari as well as continuing its technical partnership with Dallara who builds the cars.
Haas ready for strong 2023
Team owner Gene Haas said in a statement: “I was very pleased to welcome MoneyGram as title partner for the 2023 season and beyond, and it’s exciting to see our first livery unveiled together as the MoneyGram Haas F1 team.
“We head into a new season buoyed by some strong team performances last year and a return to points-paying finishes. The aim for the 2023 season is naturally to do that more consistently and with Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenburg I certainly believe we’ve got an experienced driver pairing more than capable of delivering those points on a Sunday.”
